Digital Systems Engineering, Inc. (DSE) offers a rugged line of military DVE displays designed for seamless integration within in any military ground vehicle application. The Driver's Vision Enhancer (DVE) Display Series are a family of advanced video displays, engineered to operate under the extreme environments found in tactical wheeled and tracked vehicle operations. Each mil spec DVE can be used in either day or night applications and comes equipped with features such as enhanced sunlight readability, extreme dimming & high brightness, a tactile button OSD interface, low power consumption and optional NVIS compliance (MIL-STD-3009 Class B)*.

The DVE10 military DVE display is capable of operating in environments with extended temperature options, extreme shock and vibration and explosive atmosphere. The DVE10 display offers LED backlighting (1000:1 dimming ratio) for high brightness scenarios. The DVE10 display comes equipped with (1) sensor input (RS-170), (1) composite AUX video input, (2) RS422 serial data interface and (1) pass-through video sensor output. |

DSE's Driver's Vision Enhancer Monitor, the DVE10-LITE, is a ruggedized 10.4" LCD display, engineered to operate in extreme environments found in off-road and tracked military vehicles. The ruggedized situational awareness display is capable of performing in environments with extended temperature extremes, shock and vibration and explosive atmosphere. Housed in an IP67/NEMA 6 sealed aluminum case, the DVE10-LITE video monitor is light weight and watertight with sealed mil spec connectors. Front-mounted controls and various mounting options makes the DVE10-LITE rugged outdoor video monitor user-friendly. |

The DVE10-VR is a smart DVE display with a tactile programmable button interface (ASCII or HEX code) via RS232 protocol for PC software functions. The 10.4" DVE monitor has been designed to operate in the extreme environments found in off-road and tracked military vehicle operations. The smart DVE display is capable of performing in environments with extended temperature extremes, shock and vibration and explosive atmosphere. The ruggedized 10.4" DVE (Driver's Vision Enhancer) display offers both RGB and RS-170 composite video inputs. Options such as an analog resistive touch screen and DSE's integrated NVIS technology are available on the DVE10-VR display. |

DVE-SPYDER - Smart DVE Display with Internal Digital Video Recorder (DVR)
The DVE-SPYDER display is an advanced Driver's Vision Enhancer (DVE) display that offers DSE's intellligent display technology. A unique design feature of the DVE-SPYDER display is an integrated Digital Video Recorder (DVR). The internal DVR provides real-time recording and playback of high frame-rate (30 fps) 24-bit hi-resolution imagery. The DVR stores up to 8 hours of recording time on its 8G solid state disk drive and offers MPEG-4 data compression for on-display video playback. A USB video download port is available along with accurate frame time stamping up to 1/100th of a second. |

The ruggedized military DVE displays can be used in operations such as situational awareness and vehicle tracking, and can give the modern warfighter the ability to detect targets or threats outside the vehicle from the safety within the vehicle's interior. All of DSE's DVE rugged displays are backwards compatible with legacy DVE installations and can easily be installed in a standard A-kit mount, making it suitable for any tactical vehicle application.
*DSE's integrated NVIS technology produces zero color shift and will not bloom NVGs at its maximum brightness. Dimming is not necessary to meet MIL-STD-3009, Class B NVIS requirements.
