SES Recorders on display at Helitech 2009

At the recent helicopter event Helitech 2009 at The Imperial War Museum Duxford, UK, SES exhibited on its stand some its most recent airborne rugged processor technology, in addition to many data recorders already familiar in helicopter installations. Processors included high performance S3DP-V, while helicopter-installed recorders on show included the 2-channel video S3DR-F+ and 3-channel cockpit voice recorder S3DR-CVR.The three aircraft parked next to each other below on day 1 of the show have one thing in common: All are equipped with SES data recorders:

At the rear, Puma HC1 of RAF 33 Squadron is fitted with S3DR-CVR Cockpit Voice Recorder. In the foreground, National Grid Helicopter Unit's most recent AS355NP Twin Squirrel is equipped with an SES interactive two-channel video data recorder, S3DR-F+. Between them, an AS350B Single Squirrel of the Defence Helicopter Flying School fleet, recently fitted with SES Cockpit Voice Recorders - see next news story.
